We understand how difficult it can be to give medication to children and want to make it as easy as possible for both of you. One way to do this is to encourage your child by giving them some choice and control over their medicines. FLAVORx and PROfile Kids Club can help:

 

FLAVORx

Awful isn’t anyone’s favourite favour, especially your child’s.

Let them choose something that tastes better – something like apple, bubblegum or banana crème; or any one of our many other flavours. We can customize your child’s prescription and over the counter liquid medicines with a flavour that they choose. All flavours are non-allergenic and sugar free.

PROfile Kids Club

Your child's trip to the pharmacy can be a positive experiencewhen they join PROfile Kids Club. This program teaches them the importance of taking their medicine and lets them have fun doing it.

Talk to your PROfile Pharmacist about enrolling your child when they have a prescription to be filled. Upon registering in PROfile Kids Club, your child receives a personalized welcome kit along with some fun activities. They will also receive a calendar and stickers to track their medication. They are encouraged to put a sticker on each day that they take their complete medication dose. Upon completing their medication and filling their dosing calendar with stickers, your child can return to the pharmacy to choose a prize!

Every time your child needs a prescription, they will be given a new calendar to track their doses, and the opportunity to choose another prize when they complete their medication.

As a member of the PROfile Kids Club, your child is provided with encouragement to take their medication, making your job of administering their medication a whole lot easier.
